Christie Lites Sales is pleased to announce that all of its mercury based lamps (MSR, HMI and MSDs) are now part of a lamp recycling program. Canada is the first to roll this out and we are currently using a facility in Ayr Ontario. For details speak to your Christie Lites Sales Sales Rep or call Allyson at 519-740-3334 ext. 36 at Fluorescent Lamp Recyclers. We are working on bulb recycling in the US and will be keeping all the old lamps until we find the right provider.

All Canadian Christie Lites locations are bullfrogpowered® with 100% green electricity and 100% green natural gas. By choosing Bullfrog Power, we are reducing our environmental impact, supporting the development of new green energy projects, and helping to create a cleaner, healthier world.
Bullfrog’s green electricity comes from a blend of wind and low-impact hydro power sourced from new Canadian renewable energy facilities, with at least 50% sourced directly from this region.
Bullfrog’s green natural gas is sourced from a ground-breaking methane-capture project situated on one of Canada’s landfills. At the site, biogas is captured, cleaned up, and injected onto the national natural gas pipeline.
Through our support for green energy, we are reducing our emissions footprint by more than 245 tonnes of CO2e on an annual basis.

Christie Lites Sales is on the move to send its electronic waste to Noranda Recycling. Old computers, monitors, phone systems, and anything electronic can be sent to Noranda, who have an exceptionally high standard for recycling. None of what Noranda receives ends up in landfills. For more information please visit the Noranda web site or read the attached PDF. Note: Noranda will take anything with a plug on it, with the exception of “white goods” (stoves and fridges).
