It all started in 1999 when Olivier Alarie was a student in Civil Engineering at La Cité Collégiale in Ottawa. He volunteered as a stage hand to setup the lighting rig at the Festival Franco-ontarien in the Bi-Ward Market. His aptitudes, energy, hard work and creativeness did not go unnoticed for long and in June of 2004 he was recruited as an account representative for Christie Lites.
Design builds are his bread and butter, Olivier brings with him Focus, Value and creative solutions in every details of your project. The knowledge acquired from years of field work and product training sessions has allowed Olivier to build strong Relationships with various members in the theatre community. In recent years he has found a great deal of satisfaction helping small community theatre, schools and various live event production companies in achieving their lighting requirements by introducing new LED products and innovative lighting controls.
Olivier is a family man with devotion to his beautiful wife and three children. In the winter you will find him on the slope or on a frozen lake for the occasional ice fishing trip. The summer is reserved for camping, relaxing and more fishing. Although born in the Province of Québec, Olivier grew up all over Canada and the world, and can answer all your inquiries in French or English.
