Alfred Larter  began his career in the entertainment industry mixing sound for the Janus band at the early age of 15. Over the course of his career, Alfred continued to find himself in the music world, from the Blues with The Mason Chapman Band to Celtic with Natalie MacMaster.

Alfred set his sights on sales of audio and lighting equipment early in the game and discovered that his people skills came naturally. Building relationships began with Musicstop (a music store) in Halifax. After approximately 6 years he started to channel his energy towards the production rental market and found himself working in the Atlantic Canadian sales and rental industry for both sound and lighting.

In August of 2001 a plan came together and Alfred joined the Christie Lites team. With Christie Lites' commitment to the lighting industry, Alfred has made a career of working in sales and rental of lighting equipment both in the Atlantic Region, as well as Canada and the U.S.  With honest business practices and standardization of equipment and procedures, a mutually rewarding partnership has developed.

Over the past few years Alfred has cemented many strong relationships with small and large theatres and industry specialists throughout Atlantic Canada. He also looks after clients on a broader scale throughout North America.
