Gary Meiklejohn has worked in the lighting industry since 1986 an has been a sales account representative for Christie Lites since 2004. His passion for lighting came from his music background and began with typical stage lighting for bands and special events. This led to working with theatres, schools, churches, and multi purpose facilities. While lighting is his main focus , Gary has also provided staging , drapery, and portable dance floors to many groups over the years . The industry has changed a great deal in the past 15 years as has his breadth of interest. In addition to the above client types, he is involved with museums , retail spaces, commercial offices , and architectural applications at both a small and large level. LED lighting has become a large part of day to day projects from performance spaces to architectural applications and he looks forward to the challenge of all of these projects . Gary resides just outside of Edmonton and deals with clients from BC to Manitoba. When not working , you will find him at a guitar shop or a golf course whenever possible.
