Robert Zadeh grew up in a highly technical and scientific environment. He showed a unique interest in electricity, lighting, and telecommunications from an early age. Following high school, he pursued a Bachelor's degree followed by a Master's in Electrical Engineering, concurrently working at a wide range of internships, summer jobs, and contract jobs in related technical fields. His passion for solid-state lighting and controls was ignited by working at Future Lighting Solutions, a newly-formed division of Future Electronics in Montreal, focused on LED lighting and proof-of-concept engineering of LED lighting projects. Since then, he has been extensively involved with the technical and sales side of LED lighting, controls, energy management, wireless lighting controls, entertainment lighting, and networked lighting. He has successfully completed the IES Fundamentals of Lighting certificate and is a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) holder through AVIXA. His passion for latest lighting and AV technologies, coupled with strong customer relations skills gives him a unique blend of skills for success in this field.
